Overview
Our Special Education Needs (SEN) classes provide tailored support for children facing learning difficulties or disabilities. Whether due to medical conditions, disabilities, or other challenges, we recognize that some learners require extra assistance to thrive academically and personally.
What Are SEN or SEND?
SEN stands for Special Educational Needs, and it encompasses a wide range of learning differences. These needs can make it more challenging for a child to learn compared to their peers of the same age. At some point, all children encounter learning obstacles, but most overcome them with support from teachers and their home environment. However, children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) often need additional or different help to achieve their full potential.
Our Approach
Individualized Support
In our SEN classes, we prioritize individualized support. Each student’s unique needs are carefully assessed, allowing us to create personalized learning plans. Whether a child has a diagnosed disability or faces challenges without a specific label, we adapt our teaching methods to address their requirements.
Systematic Monitoring
We believe in progress tracking. Our teachers systematically monitor each student’s development, adjusting strategies as needed. Regular assessments help us identify areas of growth and areas that require further attention.
Teaching Procedures and Adapted Materials
Our instructors employ evidence-based teaching procedures tailored to the diverse needs of our students. We recognize that traditional classroom approaches may not suffice for everyone. Therefore, we use specialized techniques, adaptive materials, and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
Accessible Settings
Creating an inclusive environment is crucial. Our gym is designed to be accessible physically and emotionally. We ensure that students feel comfortable, safe, and supported. From physical accommodations to fostering a positive atmosphere, we prioritize the well-being of every learner.
