Elite Boxing Gym coach and Halliwell ABC Head Trainer, Phil Robinson, has deservedly been selected as the North West Area Representative for the third consecutive year.

Phil has been a long-serving and valued part of the coaching team at Elite Boxing, and he has helped guide the upcoming generation of amateur boxers through a strong Halliwell ABC squad.

Now, he prepares for his third successive season heading up the North West region on the amateur scene as Area Representative for England Boxing.

“It’s an honour for myself and Halliwell ABC to be selected for the third successive year as the Area Representative for the North West Region,” Phil said after his latest appointment.

“I’m looking forward to serving the region for another year. It’s an absolute honour to once again be voted in as the Area Representative for 2026/27.

“A massive thank you to all of the clubs who voted for me. I really appreciate your support.

“It’s also great to see my good friend, Alan Smith, reelected, along with Dan Benson and Sean Joseph Hobson, joining us on the committee this year.

“We have big plans for a massive season ahead for the North West. Thank you once again.”

This is a brilliant achievement for Phil to be appointed once again, and it’s a reflection of the hard work and commitment he continues to put into amateur boxing for both his club, Halliwell ABC, and across the entire region.
